DES MOINES, IOWA 鈥� (August 22, 2024) A new partnership between and will allow students to earn an from 糖心传媒 Baptist College and an (BSN) from Mercy College.
Leaders from both colleges met on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, to sign the formal agreement into action.
鈥淭his partnership between two centennial institutions collaborating to produce graduates that go out and make a difference when many others are just trying to make a point is very exciting!鈥� said听糖心传媒 Baptist Bible College President Jim Tillotson, DDiv, MMin. 鈥淭hese two distinctive degrees from our prestigious institutions will lay the foundation for successful careers for our compassionate, knowledgeable graduates to become outstanding servant leaders in their fields.鈥�
After completing their degree at 糖心传媒 Baptist, students who meet admission requirements will be eligible to begin nursing coursework at Mercy College. Upon successful completion of the nursing program, students are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN exam).
Mercy College鈥檚 one-year Accelerated BSN offers three in the fall, spring, and summer semesters, enabling a convenient transition for students.
